Planet Earth Marketing Scam

http://PlanetEarthMarketinScam.info

I have created this blog to let the world know of my experience with PlanetEarthMarketing.com and the organization behind them, UReach.com.

First of all, I've been doing internet marketing since 2007. I understand that it's a marathon and not a sprint. I get that. I've made money over the years but I've lost money too. And, this is the first time I was inspired to do a public service announcement against a company that has treated me so poorly.

Below you will find the email thread over a period of weeks. The money lost is not the issue, it's only $49.95. The real issue I have is that they never took any bit of the blame and in the end have reversed it by saying that it was "my poor campaign".

Just for the record, "my poor campaign" has consistently gotten opt in rates between 15%-20% since 2008. And, using PlanetEarthMarketing.com and Ureach.com I've gotten opt in rates so small that they can't even be calculated. I mean .000001% or smaller if their claims of advertising "to every email list imaginable".

Here's the email trail. Judge for yourself and proceed with caution:

1. I purchased their "The MASTER BLOWOUT: Global Submission to virtually EVERY email on the planet". Obviously that is a bit overstated but nonetheless I assume that's a lot of emails. RESULTS: FOUR OPT INS

2. Obviously not satisfied I emailed customer support:

Hello,

Your ad said that there was a 100% refund if not satisfied. I
have only received 4 leads from your system and I would like my $49.95
back.

3. They replied:

It is clearly stated 100% Guaranteed Results on our website. You
received Results therefore no refund is due. I will however give
you our DOOMSDAY Service at no charge valued at $24.95. And, A
Contact Solo-Email To 500,000 valued at $19.95. However, there
will be no refund. You may enter a different offer on our order
form. Just go to: http://www.tinyurl.com/orderdetails

4. I then replied:

Wow! That's amazing. You think that 4 leads out of your claim of "virtually every email address on the planet" for an ad to my web site that consistently gets a 15% - 20% opt in rate is results? It's not the offer because it has proven itself through a half dozen other mediums.

Hopefully your DOOMSDAY service will be more reputable than the other services. I had hoped your solution would be something I could add to my advertising methods but it's not looking promising.

5. At this point I'm skeptical but am giving them the benefit of the doubt because they are trying to help and sent me this message:

We will help you in any way to get you results. We are a
reputable company and we don't like unhappy customers. I just
want you to know we will work it out with you as much as we can.
We dont just take the money and run. I will be completing you
DOOMSDAY service shortly. So, if you would like to request a
different time to send it let me know now. Otherwise, your
DOOMSDAY will go out no later than 12:00 PM CST. Thank You!

Please let me know how it goes!

Sincerely,

D.A. Wojtkowski

6. I let this second campaign run so I then emailed back and said:

FYI - it hasn't gone well since I've received ZERO leads from this campaign . . .

7. To which they replied:

The DOOMSDAY Service is Extremely Legitimate and your lack of
results shows nobody is attracted to your offer.
WE have NO
CONTROL over that. But I will do the DOOMSDAY again and then you
are on your own. Most people do not understand advertising is an
ongoing thing and your $49.95 purchase is not going to make you
independently wealthy. You filled out the order form and checked
all the appropriate boxes showing you knew what you were doing.

I have attatched free safelist submission software and maybe it
will help you. Then you may submit as much as you want. Good
Luck!

Sincerely,

D.A. Wojtkowski

8. At this point I was pretty perturbed so I wrote:

First of all, this is the typical response of a scam artist that is not willing to take blame. Second of all, I've been doing this since 2007 and this website CONSISTENTLY gets an opt in rate between 15% - 20% for every advertising method except yours which got an opt in rate so small it's almost incalculable.

Ridiculous customer service behavior - not our fault, don't blame us. Wow!

9. To which they said:

I have not done your repeat DOOMSDAY Submission yet. Can
you be a little more patient. You are not the only customer we
have. Anyway, we promise results and you got them no matter how
miniscule. And, after I do it this is a closed case transaction.
I just wanted you to know we have been in business over 10
years. I know your kind and I will leave it at that.

Sincerely,

D.A. Wojtkowski

10.So there you have it. I guess "my kind" is people that expect a company to do what is promised and if it isn't they should at least offer a little respect in resolving the situation. Instead, they said "don't blame us - it's you".

Again, I wasn't expecting this to make me rich and I could CARE LESS about losing $49.95. What I care about is being treated this way and then having them saying "We guarantee results but that means if you get ONE lead it is results" Oh well . . .

  3. Flush your money down the toilet. You'll get similar results from this company. I purchased the 30 day, 500,000 email ads per day for $19.95. Who can resist that offer/ I should have known it was bogus. After 10 days, ZERO responses. Even if I was selling Bat Guano, someone would have responded or CLICKED the tracking link.

  4. definitely stay away from anything with Ureach.. they are scam artist..they have other so called services floating around and of course no results and the same typical response will be given to the customer.. Funny that there are no reviews showing for any of their so-called traffic products..

  5. I now wish I would have checked these people out before I ordered from them and I am just learning.
My order was only for $14.95 with instructions to follow that never did.
I couldn't get a hold of them by phone, left messages and sent three support email requests. Meanwhile I did a search on their address and came up with a different company (PAR) with a different phone number. So, of course I called and talked with the guy's (Dennis) mother who got his son to the phone. He said that I should have rec'd the instructions and apologized then promised me all kinds of extras at no charge and he would send the instructions again and to call him at this number if I didn't receive them.
NO SHOW on the instructions and will not call me back and now no one will answer the phone (has one of those old fashioned answer machines where they can hear the caller leaving a message and probably have caller ID).

  6. Thank You Thank You

This has saved me some money which I can now use for Xmas instead of giving to PEM. I should have been warned when I checked with www.imreportcard.com as I always do before I do business online and planetearth was not listed.

Thanks a lot and enjoy the coming holiday season

  7. I have a similar experience. I recently purchased one of the packages but never even got a response.

The money was taken from my credit card but they never took any took, nor ask for anything from me for the email blast.

This has been several days now. I emailed them an got no response. BIG RIP OFF!
